Don’t Drink … Play!
Tuesday, 8. December 2009
If you like to have a drink occasionally, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and keep all money, charge cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Only take whatever cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to squander and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You could have a win following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and wager. These activities simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moola out of the casino is a little dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic actions is required. If you gamble to win, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the no charge alcohol you are able to handle, but do not take plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your inebriated self throws away all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step more. do not consume alcohol and then jump online to wager in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condo, however because I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and bet.
How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s certainly enough to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
