There is a captivating story to the Cambodia gambling dens that sit just over the border from neighboring Thailand, where casino betting is prohibited. Eight gambling halls are established in a relatively tiny space in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. The latest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort contains 300 slots and 70 table games and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has one hundred and sixty six slot machine games and ninety six table games, including 87 baccarat chemin de fer (the most popular game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slot machine games and sixty six of the common gaming tables, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the 8 casinos in Poipet, again a part of a motel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machine games and ninety seven casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-inclusive vacation and hotel building that highlights numerous comforts accompanying the gambling den, which contains ten thousand square feet of one hundred and thirty one armed bandits and eighty eight table games.
